I Lost My Crown! What Should I Do?

Dental Crown

Losing a crown is unpredictable. If possible, the best thing you can do is save it! Place it in a Ziploc bag until seeing a dentist. Do not apply an adhesive to place the crown back in yourself. If salvageable Dr. Alfredo Martin and staff can simply recement it, although this is not always the case.

Practicing good oral hygiene in the meantime is very important. Brush the area gently and avoid chewing on the affected area as much as possible. The most important thing to do is contacting a dentist immediately after losing your crown! Cooper City Family Dentistry is available during COVID-19 to assist with your dental needs and emergencies!
